Apple Silicon or Intel: what's the difference

Apple Silicon (M1 and newer): the Mac recognizes speech by itself, without the internet. $25 once.
Intel: our server recognizes speech, so you need the internet. $12 a month or $96 a year, on all your computers (up to 5), dictation on one at a time.
