Voice Monkeys does not collect your voice, text or usage data. Speech is processed on your Mac. When you buy, Stripe processes the payment and we store your email and license key to deliver and support your license. For the free trial and for activation we store an anonymous hash of your Mac's hardware ID, so the 7-day trial and a key each work on one Mac. The speech model is downloaded once from Hugging Face or, if that fails, from our own server, and the app checks voicemonkeys.com for updates once a day; like any download, these servers see your IP address.
